Welcome to the Live Feed - this is an experiment to showcase some of the work we do. The Web-cam below is showing the LED kit that can be used to run a Signal within your garden. These kits are simple to install and show the live status of a particular signal or length of track. The signal below is set to turn green when trains are passing in either direction. All of this is configurable!
We also create copies of signal Box diagrams; showing the position of trains on the rail network. Below is the section of track from Mickle Trafford to Chester with the position of the camera above marked. Depending upon the available data is is also possible to show the Signal Aspect of each signal on the diagram. That data is not available on the Mickle Trafford section.
Below is the output from Trackit Trains which shows the expected timestamp of trains passing Mickle Trafford Signal Box. Not all trains passing the signal box will pass this section of track. Typically it is the trains travelling to or from Manchester Airport, Leeds, Liverpool that will pass.
